CanProx MAC (Micro Access Controller)
Stand Alone System

CanProx Mac

The CanProx MAC is a stand-alone proximity access control system that supports up to 99 users with individual Void/Validate capability. The CanProx MAC consists of a CanProx proximity card reader and a Lock Adapter Board installed on the secure side of the door. Optionally, a door contact and an exit button may also be connected.

If a door contact is used, the door will relock once the door contact is closed. The unit will also annunciate Door Held Open and Forced Entry alarm conditions.
All programming is accomplished using a set of Proximity Digit Cards. To Validate a card, an empty memory slot is located and the user’s card is presented to the reader. To Void a card, the existing cardholder’s memory slot is located. A specified digit card is then presented which then voids the card.

Additional features include VAL (Variable Audio Level), which allows the reader’s volume to be field adjusted. CanProx MAC is compatible with all HID credentials and provides up to 3 inches of read range using the ProxCard ® II proximity access card. CanProx MAC can be mounted directly on a metal door mullion or on a single-gang electrical box when used with the RP100AP adapter kit. The unit also has a plug-in connector for quick installation or service replacement.

CanProx MAC also comes with free Database Administration Software to keep track of your cards and their associated memory slots.

SmartLock Plus Stand Alone System

SmartLock Plus

SmartLock Plus is a programmable stand-alone access control system available as a self-contained Magstripe reader, a two piece iButtonTM reader, or a Wiegand compatible controller which allows the use of most types of reader technologies with a Wiegand output.

  • Simple to Install and Operate
  • No Communication Wires Needed
  • Data Loaded from Program Card/Key
  • Magstripe / Wiegand / iButtonTM Versions
  • 1200 Card Capacity (per reader)
  • 10,000 Card Capacity (per system)
  • 4 Access Schedules
  • 768 Transaction Audit Buffer
  • Software for Windows® 95/98/2000

Each SmartLock controller is equipped with outputs to power an Electric Lock as well as control a Power Door Operator. Inputs are provided for a Request-to-Exit Button, a Handicap Access Button and a Door Contact. When the Door Contact Input is connected, the reader will automatically relock the door once it re-closes. In addition, an audible alert can be gener-ated if the door is held open longer than a specified time.

Voiding and validating cards is accomplished easily using the SmartLock Plus Data Management Kit which includes a Serial Port Adapter, Windows® Data Management Software, a Portable Audit/Program Card or Key, and a Schedule Card or Key.

The administrator sets up the cardholder database on the PC utilizing four Access Schedules and 255 Reader Groups to specify at what times and through which doors the users have access throughout the facility. If card holders will have the same access privileges at two or more readers, simply group the readers so that they may be programmed with the same data.

Once the cardholder database has been updated, it is written to the Program Card/Key via the PC’s RS-232 port and the Serial Port Adapter. The data is then transferred to the SmartLock controller by taking the Program Card to the reader and simply inserting it in (Magstripe versions), or by applying the Program Key to the reader for (iButtonTM versions), or by applying the Program Key to the data port for (Wiegand versions). The same process is also used to load Schedule data using a Schedule Card or Key. In addition, up to 768 Audit transactions may be retrieved from the SmartLock controller complete with Time and Date stamp. "Unlock Privilege"

SmartLock Parkaid Stand Alone System for Parking

SmartLock Parkaid

SmartLock Parkaid is a completely self-contained programmable stand-alone access control system designed specifically for parking applications. Each ParkAid unit comes complete with housing, long range proximity reader, and controller all pre-wired and ready to go. The unit is installed on a wall or pedestal with all wiring accessible outside of the unit. ParkAid units may also be used in conjunction with SmartLock Plus units throughout a facility employing the full range of AWID proximity readers.

Each ParkAid unit is equipped with a dry contact output to power a Gate Arm as well as an 12V output which may be used to power a relay for switching high current devices. An input is also provided for an Exit Sensor which activates the gate arm without a card being used. In addition, Timed Anti-Passback may be implemented to prevent the same card from being granted access within a programmable time period up to 255 minutes.

Voiding and validating cards is accomplished easily using the SmartLock Data Management Kit which includes a Serial Port Adapter, Data Management Software, a Portable Audit/Program Key, and a Schedule Key. The administrator sets up the cardholder database on a PC utilizing four Access Schedules and 255 Reader Groups to specify at what times and through which doors the users have access throughout the facility. If cardholders will have the same access privileges at two or more readers, simply group the readers so that they may be programmed with the same data.

Once the cardholder database has been updated, it is written to the Program Key via the PC’s RS-232 port and the Serial Port Adapter. The data is then transferred to the ParkAid controller by taking the Program Key to the unit and applying the Program Key to the data port. The same process is also used to load Schedule data using a Schedule Key. In addition, up to 768 Audit transactions may be retrieved from the ParkAid controller complete with Time and Date stamp.
