ELP 1000 Entry Phone System

The Condoplex ELP 1000 Entry Phone System implements a unique and innovative new approach for visitor access control systems. The system allows a guest to quickly and conveniently announce their arrival with a minimum of effort. This is a cost effective means of allowing 24 hour visitor access control into Condominium / Apartment or Office Complexes; or to supplement concierge access during off-peak hours. Entry phones are also recommended for buildings that have more than one main entrance.

The Entry Phone is comprised of a high quality backlit black and white LCD display that provides excellent readability under all lighting conditions, and only 3 push buttons: "Arrow Up", "Arrow Down", and "CALL" . The system displays 23 names in large print on the screen and allows multiple names on the same telephone number The visitor can scroll the display up or down by pressing either of two arrow buttons. Up to 1000 names can be scrolled in seconds. Names are displayed in alphabetical order.

The push buttons also incorporate an acceleration feature: the longer the button is held, the faster the display scrolls. While scrolling, the display will freeze momentarily when the first letter of the next displayed name changes. The system can scroll very quickly, while at the same time allowing the visitor to easily see the current first letter of the displayed names. One of 23 names displayed on the screen is highlighted, this is the person who will be called if the third button, the CALL button is pressed. The visitor simply scrolls the display "Arrow Up" or "Arrow Down" until the desired resident is highlighted, then presses the CALL button. At this point the resident’s telephone will automatically be dialed and their Suite Panel will beep, the resident then may choose the most convenient device to communicate from. Once the resident has completed their conversation with the visitor they may grant access to the building and elevators by pressing the #6 key on their phone or suite panel.

The system is very easy to install, requiring power and connection to a dedicated touch tone phone line. The programming is password protected. It is easy to add or delete names using a standard 101 key IBM AT compatible keyboard and is remotely programmable from a PC. Options include: video, various colors and finishes, wall or pedestal mount.
